Next time you drop your iPod Touch or iPhone, get a chuckle and breathe a sigh of relief when Freefall Alert lets you know everything is OK! Whenever free fall is detected, a humorous sound effect is played. Depending on how abruptly your device comes to rest, one or two more humorous sounds will be played.

Dropping your device just an inch or two on the seat next to you will trigger an alert. But you dont have to drop your device to enjoy the fun. An easy way to sample some of the sounds is to tap the on-screen "Simulate Drop" button, which animates the screen as well.

You can also trigger a free fall sound by lifting and lowering your device in front of you with one smooth, continuous motion without stopping too long at the top. If on the way down, you stop suddenly enough, one or two additional humorous sounds maybe triggered. In all, dozens of randomly mixed sounds may be heard.

The "Sleep" tab allows you to dim the screen to conserve battery power. When on this tab, Freefall Alert is less sensitive to small movements so that undesired sounds are not generated when you are simply carrying your iPhone or iPod touch.
